Yahan (夜半, Sekirei #57), is an exclusive character from the PS2 title, Sekirei: Gifts From the Future. With her Ashikabi, Koya Reiji, she serves as one of the two main antagonists featured in the game. Her name is a literal translation of "midnight".
Appearance[edit | edit source]
Yahan is a dark-skinned Sekirei with jet black hair. She wears a bikini top beneath a small hooded shawl, a buckled sarong, and leather knee-high boots to complete her black attire.
Personality[edit | edit source]
To best support her Ashikabi, Reiji, she tends to behave in an overtly antagonistic manner that is somewhat feigned. She is normally quiet, calm, and composed, but possesses a sharp tongue, and has no qualms about utilizing brutal and disingenuous tactics.
Abilities and Powers[edit | edit source]
With her light attire and sleek build, Yahan's fighting technique revolves around stealth and strategic use of her surroundings (not unlike an assassin). Using the shadows, she can teleport to any location and perform surprise attacks. However, her prowess in unarmed combat is average among Sekirei. To make up for this drawback, Yahan is equiped with a curved dagger, which she wields in conjunction with her teleportation abilities. By the use of both power and weaponry, Yahan can easily overpower and confuse enemies.
Past[edit | edit source]
Nothing about Yahan's past is known in detail, although it can be assumed that she was raised by MBI in much the same way as Tsukiumi, Musubi, and other, more prominent Sekirei were, received tuning and training, and was released by MBI to participate in the Sekirei Plan. At some point she met Reiji and was winged by him.
