Kouji is an Ashikabi and the winner of the Third Stage's second match in the Sekirei Plan. Afterwards, he was cornered by Uzume and Shiina in an ambush, resulting in the termination of his Sekirei #73 Namiji and the loss of his Jinki (#2). During this ambush he refused to hand over the Jinki, stating that it is important to him because Namiji won it for him, this results in Uzume attacking and injuring him to obtain it[1].
Appearance[]
Kouji is a slim young man with messy blond hair and green eyes, wearing a green shirt, covered by a dark blue hoodie/sweater and blue jeans.
Personality[]
He cares deeply for his Sekirei. In the manga, he wasn't willing to hand over the Jinki they won together to Uzume even when it meant death, because it was something Namiji won for him.
Sekirei[]
Anime and Manga differences[]
- Apart from his appearance in the manga, he makes an appearance during a quick fight between Namiji and an unknown Sekirei in the second season of the anime, which Namiji wins, terminating the other Sekirei in response to Minaka's decree[2].
- In the manga, they are only seen fighting to retain the Jinki after winning the second match, leading to Kouji's injuries and Namiji's termination.
