Plot[]
Minato wonders why the Disciplinary Squad has appeared at Izumo Inn; Natsuo tells him they are only there to pick up Uzume's body, a routine matter for MBI. At Higa's HQ, Kakizaki finds himself unable to contact Higa; so he must decide on his own whether to respond to Kochou's request for backup at the hospital or not. Shiina agonizes over his perceived rejection by Yukari and Uzume's previous advice to believe in his Ashikabi. Then fire alarms go off as a fire has apparently broken out on Higa's private floor. Shiina hears Yukari's call to him through their telepathic link, and he heads off in search of her. Kakizaki runs to the room where Yukari is being held and discovers that she is the one who started the fire. She breaks the window and jumps out, 50 floors up, believing that she will be saved somehow; and she is caught by Shiina on the way down.
