Narashino, Sekirei #74 debuted alongside her Ashikabi, when both were discussing the rumored "Demon and Death God" pair Yukari and Shiina who recently had a bounty placed on their heads. Along with her Ashikabi, she was eventually one of the few successful escapees from Teito.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
Narashino is a curvy, blonde haired, and blue eyed young women. Her usual outfit consists of dark capri jeans, knee length white boots and a dark short sleeved top exposing her belly, and displaying her number on the back. A dark sweat band with a black Sekirei Crest on it complements her look.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Narashino appears to be a very passionate and easily moved individual, believing Junichi's defamatory remarks regarding Yukari and Shiina's character. Her reasoning being that no Ashikabi that had lost his Sekirei would have any reason to get back at someone apart from avenging that loss out of sorrow and loyalty. She is somewhat of a helpless romantic, to an extremely naive degree, cheerfully fantasizing about an idealized version of Junichi and Yashima's relationship while conversing with Osamu. She is easily cowed, backing down and almost losing the will to fight when Yukari and Shiina merely turned around to look at her, yet takes her and Osamu's loss to the other pair in stride, noting that they were able to escape "pretty good." This fear carries over to when the two pairs encounter each other during the fourth mach of the Third Stage. Her desire to flee from the game instead of continuing to fight plays into this trait, while possibly also suggesting a degree of pacifism. She demonstrated a high degree of bravery by willingly returning to the Plan during the Fourth Stage to participate in the defence of Kamikura Island, apparently helping Haruka recruit other escaped Ashikabi and Sekirei to come back and assist.
Abilities and Powers[edit | edit source]
She appears to be able to generate shockwaves and small earthquakes by striking the ground, indicating that she is either a Combat-type Sekirei, or possibly able to manipulate an element or similar force, either earth or gravity.
Major Battles[edit | edit source]
History[edit | edit source]
Nothing about Narashino's past is known in detail, although it can be assumed that she was raised by MBI in much the same way as Tsukiumi, Musubi, and other, more prominent Sekirei were, received tuning and training, and was released by MBI to participate in the Sekirei Plan. At some point she met Osamu and was winged by him.
Synopsis[edit | edit source]
Narashino appears alongside Osamu, discussing Junichi's 1,000,000 yen bounty, and its targets, Yukari Sahashi, and her Sekirei, no. 107, Shiina. Narashino fantasizes about romance and mistakingly seems to have imagined Junichi as a much kinder person than he is in reality, while Osamu muses that Junichi's behaviour indicated that he was probably offering up the money out of fear and hate, due to his fearful, restless behaviour when the duo met up with him. The two confront Yukari and Shiina as they emerge from an alleyway, and Narashino shrinks away as Yukari glares at her. Angry at Narashino's outburst about her being scary, Yukari attempts to initiate the fight, but Shiina attacks first, dismissively assaulting Narashino with his Death Flower technique (confirming later that he held back), and defeating her. Still conscious, and seemingly having been spared by or fled from the other Sekirei and Ashikabi, Narashino and Osamu lie on the ground, with Narashino commenting on their skill at escaping and Shiina and Yukari living up to their reputation, and Osamu merely staying still, tired and unresponsive.
During the fourth match Narashino and Osamu approach a large group of assembled Ashikabi and Sekirei unaware of Yukari and Shiina's identities as the infamous "Demon and Death God", and inform them of this information, causing a mass retreat at the match site.
During the invasion of Kamikura Island, Narashino and Osamu appear to support the Ashikabi and Sekirei against the invading enemy force. When Kuno overexerts herself, and leaves her and Haruka vulnerable, Narashino steps in, and sends the remaining enemies flying with a possible earth or gravity-based attack called "Sekirei Guard", which ruptures the ground. She informs Haruka that she was just doing as he asked her to do, gathering the "remaining guys", or other escaped Sekirei and Ashikabi.
